The Year 8 football team travelled to St Catherine’s (in the league) hoping for their first win of the season. Sharples started the game very well despite playing against the wind. St Catherine’s goalkeeper made some fantastic saves. Kathrada and Raiyyan Ali went close and then Cole Bridge saw his penalty saved. Sharples continued to miss opportunities and paid the price as St Catherine’s fired all 3 of their shots into the net.
The table tennis team continued their winning streak with another dominant performance against Ladybridge this time. Sharples won the majority of their games with Josh Rand and Phil Ufoma putting in excellent performances. This was despite being 2 years younger than most of their opponents.
