On Wednesday of this week, Sharples hosted the second annual Rotary Technology tournament.
Teams from Westhoughton, Bolton School, the UTC, Canon Slade and – of course – Sharples battled it out to win to the coveted trophy.
The first challenge was to build a bridge to very specific dimensions.
The teams then had to produce a car that would travel uphill on a ramp using a counterweight.
