Bolton Lads and Girls Club Make a Difference!
Bolton Lads and Girls Club have been at Sharples this week to launch a brand new project with Year 7 pupils called ‘Young Citizens’. Students will sign up to volunteer in their community and enjoy weekly team building and activity sessions at Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
The young people will make a difference to their community by choosing a project to work on such as gardening, helping the elderly or even a business enterprise with a £5 start up fund provided!
At the end of the 6 week programme, the Sharples students will be invited to a celebration event and free trip courtesy of Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
