A massive well done to the Year 7 & 8 rounders team who like the Year 9 & 10 squad on Tuesday night, made it through to the semi-finals of the Bolton Town Rounders tournament on Thursday. With a brilliant display in the group stages, once again Sharples progressed through to the semis where they faced a strong Canon Slade side. After a closely fought match with some excellent fielding from Agnes M and Alishia V, the girls just missed out on a finals spot, losing 31-21. A brilliant effort from the girls who managed to get to the final 4 out of 14 teams!
