At Sharples we reward positive conduct; in and out of lessons students can receive ACE points for their accomplishments.
Academic points are awarded for progress in lessons.
Community points are awarded for contributing to the school community and being a good citizen.
Excellence points are given to students who go above and beyond expectations.
Last year some of the prizes included: a weekly prize of an early lunch and a text message home; half termly treats and ‘chill out’ reward time; activity afternoons filled with sports, films or pamper and an end of year trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
From next week, updates of your child’s reward points will be available on the School Gateway App for all parents and carers. Every time a teacher gives your child a reward point you will receive a notification and you will be able to keep track of your child’s total points.
