Animals Inside Out!

By 13 December 2016June 2nd, 2021No Comments

On Saturday, Year 10 students travelled to Newcastle to see the famous anatomy exhibition “Animals Inside Out” by German biologist Dr Gunther Von Hagens. The collection of dissected animals reveal the muscles, skeleton and internal organs of gorillas, elephants, giraffes, sharks and much more. Physiology is now an integral part of GCSE Science and the students were able to put their learning into practice naming the organs and finding out more about organ systems in different animals.

It was a fantastic experience and a very unique one as the exhibition returns to Germany in January.

Well done to all the Year 10 students for giving up their weekend to further their knowledge and to the staff for accompanying them.
