This week we have welcomed over 250 Year 6 pupils attending our primary events at Sharples. On Tuesday, students from The Valley joined Miss Molyneux and Mr Stapley to learn all about rocks in science.

On Thursday, this week we held our annual Primary Spelling Bee in the library. Teams from Sharples, The Oaks and Belmont Primary competed to be the top spellers 2018!

The evening was a lot of fun and the winners were Sharples Primary! Thanks to Mrs Smith for organising.

Finally, this week we held The Big Performing Arts Day on Friday. The Valley, St Paul’s and Sharples had a spooky time as they took part in workshops including horror make up and ghost dancing. Parents and Headteachers joined us in the afternoon for the Big Performance of The Monster Mash! Thanks to Mrs Stevens for organising and Mrs Fletcher, Mrs Smith and the Year 10 make up artists: Rowan, Libby, Isabel and Ruby!
