On Monday, unfortunately, the cricket was postponed. This meant that only the table tennis team were in action this week. It was a real treat with both Sharples and Westhoughton putting out very talented sides. Sam Fullarton, Matthew Senior, Archie Lonsdale and Jack Gornall were the only year 9 pupils in the KS3 squad and they performed excellently on the night. Sharples younger members of the team pushed Westhoughton all the way but it wasn’t enough to beat a more experienced team. With the younger players coming through, the future looks promising.
