On Monday last week, we held our first Star Party of the season. The astronomy spirits could could not be dampened by the rain and clouds as over 40 people turned up to ask advice from members of the Bolton Astronomical Society. They helped many of our students by showing them how to use telescopes.
Hot pasties and hot chocolate were enjoyed by everyone. Fingers crossed for clear skies for our next party in spring!
