Well done to the Year 9 and 10 pupils selected to represent the school in the Athletics Town Championships this week. Pupils showed excellent determination in their events and should be proud of their achievements. Ali Khan was the standout performer with an impressive time of 5 minutes 5 seconds in the 1500m. The following day the Year 9 cricket team were in action against Thornleigh. The team won the toss and elected to bowl, they then once again showed strength in depth and shared out the bowling throughout the team. Thornleigh struggled to gain a score of 57 runs, which Sharples hit in just 6 overs. Zayd Adam top scored with the bat and also had excellent bowling figures, taking two important wickets. The game demonstrated an excellent team performance.
