Smithills travelled the short distance to play netball against us this Wednesday. They could only bring two teams and decided on Years 7 and 8. The Year 8s played first and stormed ahead scoring 6 goals. They conceded two goals but continued to attack well. The girls displayed some really positive game play and worked well as a team. The game finished with our team winning 14-6. The Year 7 team must have been inspired to play well as they too got off to a good start scoring 3 goals, one after the other. The game finished with the Year 7s winning 10-3. Well done to Ruby and Cherie who got players of the match. Well done to all the girls who played. All teams have a match against St. Catherine’s next week and we wish you all good luck.
