Rewards Day 2021

At the end of an extremely unpredictable and challenging school year, on Friday 16th July, we celebrated the hard work and resilience that our students and staff have displayed with a whole school rewards day. Throughout the day each year group bubble moved around 4 activity zones including: a carnival area with a funfair ride, stalls and inflatables; a sports and activity zone with football, dodgeball, craft making, DJ and games; movie time; and quiz time. Everyone received free vouchers to take part in the activities and an ice-cream cone.

We raised money for our school’s chosen charities, Children of Peace and Médecins Sans Frontières, with a donation for own clothes, sponge the teacher, a tuck shop and our chocolate fountain stall.

“This year’s rewards day has honestly been the best and topped any other year! The ride, bouncy castles and other activities were enjoyable and addictive!” Zainab (Year 10)

“I enjoyed playing football and was so impressed that we all got an ice cream.” Daniel (Year 10)

“I loved rewards day. I liked how we got a free ice cream and carnival tokens. It was amazing, I wish everyday was like rewards day!” Grace (Year 8)

“Rewards day was so much fun with never ending activities! My favourite things were the fairground ride and the ice cream van. I went on the ride so many times! Thank you to Mrs Smith for organising such an amazing event.” Munisha (Year 7)
