Students at Sharples are encouraged to develop their Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) key skills outside of the classroom through active engagement in independent projects that are self-managed and student-led.
The continually high standards set by our Year 8 learners were exemplified in the fantastic body system and cell models produced by Zeena Begum (8L), Nadeem Chana (8L) and Jack Lee (8P). Jack put his STEM key skills to the test by using a 3D printer to complete his model of the human digestive system.
