Continuing their excellent start to the season, Year 9 had an emphatic 6-1 victory over St Catherine’s. It was a tight first half with Sharples taking a slight 2-1 advantage into half time after 2 goals from Cole Isherwood. The team took control in the second half and showed some impressive combination play.  The team managed to score 4 more goals through Sharples’ dynamic trio including Kyle Jones, man of the match Jack Banks and Marcus Jackson.

The Year 10 team looked to build on their first win of the season this week. Despite some impressive attacking play and 3 wonderful goals by Kai Dalhouse, Josh Hart and Jordan Duffy, Sharples struggled to defend against a strong St Catherine’s team and suffered a defeat.

On Wednesday,  Sharples put out a strong under 13s team against St Catherine’s and recorded their first win of the season against St Catherine’s.  Cole Bridge, in Year 7, continued to add to his growing reputation, playing with the Year 8 team and scoring an impressive hat trick. In the end, it was a comfortable 4-1 win with Sam Hall and Sam Fullarton both putting in excellent performances.
