The badminton team were in action at home again against Turton this week. It was great to see Takunda Mutikani, Daniel Cook, Masen Brown and Lewis Fletcher all making their debuts for the team after impressing during lessons.
The A team had the experience of Ryan Ashe, Kai Dalhouse, Tommy Banks and Lewis Aston but couldn’t avoid a 12-6 defeat. After a thrilling encounter, the B team went down to the last game. Unfortunately, the final game was lost and the final score was 10-8 to Turton. This was a fantastic achievement with so many pupils playing for the first time. Both teams will be back in action next Tuesday against Thornleigh. Watch this space!
