By 3 October 2018June 2nd, 2021No Comments

The new initiative, which began in January, sees all students that gain 100% attendance in a week put in to a prize draw. In the assemblies the following week, three students from each year will be awarded a prize of their choosing. Prizes include, for Year 7: Free Swim pass, Snack Voucher or Chocolate Bar and for Years 8, 9 and 10: Early Lunch pass or Snack Voucher with Years 9 and 10 also having the choice of a 1 week Gym pass. In Year 11, just one winner will be chosen, who will have the choice between a £5 ‘Love 2 Shop’ voucher or a 1 week Gym pass.

Form Prizes
There is also a chance for the best attending forms to win a collective prize every half term. Year 7 and 8 form winners will be rewarded by choosing a film to watch, Year 9 and 10 form winners will receive donuts and hot chocolate and Year 11 will win snack packs to take to ALS.

Reward Trips
All Students who achieve 100% attendance in a term will be invited on a rewards trip at the end of that term.  Years 7 and 8 will be going on a trip to the cinema to watch a latest film and Years 9 and 10 will be invited to a Trafford Centre shopping trip.
The ultimate goal, for every student in Years 7-11 is to achieve at least 97% attendance and therefore will be invited to the end of year rewards trip which will be a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach or Alton Towers and for Year 11 access to alternative trips and the prom.

Appointments
We encourage all appointments to be made out of school time, however in inevitable circumstances where a child needs to leave school during the school hours, the student must provide evidence (letter/appointment card etc) to the attendance officer who will issue the student with an exit pass.
