Alumni Spotlight: Adam Crompton
I attended from 1986-1991 before leaving to take my A-levels at Bolton North Sixth Form College. I graduated from there to UCLAN where I attained my BSc (Hons) Construction Project Management and where at this time as a sponsored student I was employed by Laing (who are now Laing O’Rourke, the largest private building contractor in Europe). I have also achieved an MSc with Merit at the University of Salford. My career highlights include projects such as the Preston Temple Complex in Chorley, City of Manchester Stadium for both the Commonwealth Games and Manchester City, Meadowhall Centre in Sheffield, Liverpool One and Aintree Racecourse. My most recent project was the new £200m Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, my role in this project was Commercial Manager.
