This half term, students have been enjoying the new Accelerated Reader programme. This scheme helps students choose a book that is right for them and then gives them the chance to take a quiz which tests their understanding of what they have just read. The library has been busy with students checking out books and taking quizzes, all keen to win the prizes up for grabs! The Champion Reader board is already full of students’ names, showing how many students are loving reading here at Sharples. The first prizes will be given out in assembly at the end of this half term so get reading!
