Students have been showing off their castle designs this week and there have been some fantastic designs and impressive model making skills on show. Students had the option to draw a design instead, but many prefered to build their own model castle out of cardboard, papier mache or other materials. There was even a jelly castle!
This reinforced our recent work in lesson on medieval castle design and was a fun way to bring our knowledge together at the end of the topic. Students had the opportunity in lesson to talk about their castle and there were some intriguing stories and some funny ones too. Many students clearly put a lot of time, care and thought into their project. Well done everyone!
