On Wednesday 18th March, four of our most able Further Maths students, Kieran Bibby, Saarah Dipoti, Sofiya Diveli and Lukman Patel, took part in a regional mathematics competition based at The University of Manchester. They competed against 22 other teams. The competition was held over 6 rounds, testing different aspects of their mathematical knowledge. Our students narrowly missed out on gaining full marks and winning the Columbus Cube round (pictured), but they were complimented on their team work and the effort they put in throughout the afternoon.

Well done to all!

Kieran Bibby described the event as 'enjoyable because of the different skills each round required. I would recommend it to future Year 10s'.
