Sharples School Under 15s  travelled to ESSA Academy this week, hoping to bounce back from their defeat in the cup against St Josephs’. Sharples won the coin toss and elected to bowl first. Captain Muhammad Master decided to share the bowling. Youngster Awarish finished with the best statistics and Hamza Bhaloda took a hat-trick of catches. Despite some excellent fielding, ESSA still set an impressive total of 102 runs. Sharples responded in excellent fashion and Danieyal Dad (37 runs) and Hamza Bhaloda (20 runs) created a tense finish as the game went to the last over. Unfortunately, Sharples ran out of wickets with just one over left and 8 runs needed.
