This week, The Valley’s Year 5 class visited Sharples School to take part in a day of Science fun! The morning began with chemistry experiments in the laboratory using bunsen burners. The pupils used their investigative skills to work out the names of three unknown chemicals.

After a 3D Dinosaur film in the Sharples 3D Cinema lab, the group were treated to some of the Sharples Science teacher's favourite and most explosive demonstrations!  Miss Molyneux and Mrs Cragg made a jelly baby scream, produced a giant rainbow in a tube and even set The Valley Year 5 teacher on fire! The Valley pupils were a credit to their school and we look forward to seeing you all again at our open morning in September!
