Last week, over 90 Year 7 pupils spent the final week of their summer holidays…in school!
The Year 6 to 7 transition summer is now in its 4th year and this time it was fully funded by the Sharples Association PTA.
The pupils took part in activities including, Maths, History, Cooking, Science and enjoyed a full day out at Blackpool Zoo (see picture).
The aim of the summer school is to allow our new Year 7 pupils the opportunity to make new friends and meet some of the Sharples staff in order to make the transition to secondary school less nerve wracking!

A huge thank you goes to Mrs Paton and Miss Molyneux who organised the week’s events and to all the teachers who ran sessions for our youngsters.
