This week, the whole of Year 6 from St Matthew’s Primary visited Sharples School to take part in experiments all about rocks. The pupils learned what rocks are made from, how they are weathered by rain and extreme temperatures as well as making their very own edible sedimentary rock...yum!
Ambassadors for the department: Destiny Cullen, Olemide Adediji, Logan Flynn and Emily Twinn, were on hand to help out. It was a great morning and many of the pupils are looking forward to starting with us at Sharples School next September. Thanks to Mrs Khan, Mrs Ahmed-Essap and Miss Molyneux for organising the event.
