Sharples Thinks of Manchester Victims

With GCSE exams now in full flow, we need to be business as usual in school. However, all our pupils and staff wanted to show our solidarity with the Manchester Arena victims and their families. Ryan Hunt, in Year 7, was at the Ariana Grande concert and wanted to help those affected in some way. As a small gesture from Sharples, our pupils and staff wore bright socks today (Friday) and Ryan and his friends in Year 7 arranged bucket collections at break and lunchtime. All of the proceeds going to the families of the victims of the tragedy.
