This month, Adam Norris of year 10 represented the gymnasts of the North West and competed in the international Men’s Artistic National Elite & Club Development Grades 2014.

In September, Adam's national development grades were at a level 6, positioning him in the top 4 gymnasts in the North-West of England. The grading took place between November 7th and 9th at GMAC, Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.

The North West team competed against 6 other regions and after masterfully competing on the six pieces of apparatus, performing powerful routines full of mind-blowing moves, they were awarded the gold medal! The North West gymnasts gained their Gold with an outstanding 185.100 points. The South West team came in second place with 180.400 points and the South East competitors were awarded Bronze with 153.700 points.
