The weather held off long enough for us to take a group of year 10 pupils for an aspirational trip to the University of York. After a chemistry lecture and some experimenting with clock reactions, the group travelled into York to see the sights. With our own personal tour guide Liam Gawne, a second year economics student at the university, we visited York Minster and the Shambles. Liam even let us look around his student accommodation!
Discussion topics on the way home included; which university pupils would like to go to and why there was a farm in the middle of the M62! A thought provoking trip all round!
