On Wednesday 20th January, Sharples played host to High Lawn and Cherry Tree Primary Schools for a collaborative event as part of their 'School Linking Project'. The project involves the Year 5 classes from both schools developing a partnership where each pupil is paired with a pupil from the other school. The pupils gathered in Sharples school hall for team building games, followed by an arts activity. They worked with Mrs. Davidson and Ms. Gardiner to create friendship bracelets using handmade beads and presentation boxes. At the end of the session, pupils exchanged bracelets with their partner as a keepsake from the day. Pupils had a great time getting to know each other and being creative and we offer our thanks to all schools involved.
