On Monday night, Sharples was host to Bolton St Catherine's School for Year 7 and 8 netball matches. The weather conditions may have been a little on the cold side but the girls got stuck in and enjoyed some close competition.

Sharples’ Year 7 netball team won their game 4-1. The girls were a player down so Chloe Adamson from Year 8 stepped in to help make up the numbers for the team. She was awarded player of the match by St Catherines for her amazing effort.

The Year 8 team had a tough battle on their hands in a high scoring game and lost 8-5 with Lauren Edmonds being chosen as player of the match. Finally, the Year 10s took a 6-3 victory in the shelter of the sportshall with Sara Mendes getting player of the match. The staff from St Catherine's complemented our team’s attitude and skill level. Well done Sharples!
