On Tuesday, four of our Year 10 boys started a six-week programme at the University of Bolton. The programme is designed to raise aspirations amongst students by combining a mixture of informational sessions about Higher Education, with team building, sports coaching, rock climbing and a variety of guest speakers. On the first session, the boys were split into two groups to build a house out of newspaper; the final product looked great and the team building, leadership and communication skills they learned will be extremely beneficial in the future.
