Last Friday, 8 of our budding Year 7 scientists were invited to Newsround at CBBC to interview the astronaut Tim Peake.
The pupils were asked to arrive with a question to ask Tim about his experience in space and 4 of our students asked their questions for the Newsround broadcast that afternoon.
Thanks to Mrs Fletcher and the art department, we also took some great signs to welcome Tim into the studio for the recording (see picture).
It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to meet their idol and to get a face to face interview to learn more about this exciting profession.
