On Thursday, Sharples School hosted a fixture between ourselves and Bolton St Catherine's Academy. It was a closely fought game, enjoyed by all spectators. Megan Heyes was exceptional in her position as goalkeeper and was voted ‘Player of the Match’ by Bolton St Catherine’s.
The final score line was 5-5, accurately reflecting the competitive edge of the game. Our thanks goes to Kaya Pyzer from Year 11 who assisted in umpiring the game as part of her GCSE PE course.
