The girls football team had their second match of the season on Thursday versus local rivals, Thornleigh.  Due to the weather, the matches were played indoors at Thornleigh's sportshall. The KS4 team played first and were off to a smashing start leading 6-0 at half time! The final score was 11-2. The top performances came from the new comers to the KS4 team: Olivia Doxsey and Ellie Forrest and we're hold high hopes for a title challenge this year!

The KS3 team played next, but unfortunately were missing some players from our first match. Ridah made her debut appearance and confirmed her place in the team for the future. The girls faced a strong side in Thornleigh and were beaten 4-0. Player of the match went to Millie. The future looks bright for this team now they have secured their positions. Roll on Monday night when we play Turton at home!
