This week Mr Singadia, Miss Molyneux and Roy Gibbins of the Rotary Club of Bolton le Moors visited a rolltop observatory in Chorley. Home to Dean Kos, member of the Bolton Astronomical Society, the observatory is a state of the art rolling roof design and the team from Sharples were very impressed with the structure.
The visit was part of the planning process to build our very own observatory here at Sharples School. Plans are still on target for the structure to be erected this summer.
Thanks go to Dean and the Bolton Astronomical Society for their help and expertise as we finalise the project.
