Is There Enough Room in the Van?
Urban Outreach came to the school on Thursday to pick up the hundreds of items collected by pupils and staff for Winter Watch, the annual appeal which supports homeless and vulnerable people in Bolton during the coldest months of the year.
Year 11 pupils did not participate this year, as it would have distracted them from exam commitments, but their fellow pupils from Year 7 through to Year 10 did the school proud, collecting an average of two items for every pupil.  Our grand total of 1247 items consisted of 390 bottles of squash, 278 cans of baked beans, 333 cartons of UHT milk and 192 cans of tinned fruit.
Thanks to everybody and well done!
