On Saturday 20th June, 7 Sharples School cleaners took part in the Manchester Midnight Walk to raise money for Bolton Hospice. Each of them have been affected by cancer and felt it was important to raise money for such a worthy cause.
They were sponsored by family, friends and colleagues here at Sharples School. They raised a staggering £1039 and should be incredibly proud of themselves. One participant commented that ‘it was a brilliant atmosphere and we're going to be doing it again next year!’.
