Sharples badminton and basketball team had a week of after their games were postponed by the opposition.

However, the year 10 football team were back in action again travelling to St Catherine's for their league fixture. It was an entertaining game with both sides creating plenty of chances. It was Sharples that took the lead after Matthew Chapman beat his defender to slot the ball into the goal after an excellent through ball by Tom Owen. Chapman then turned provider as Daneyil Manesh fired into the top corner on his debut. Minhaaz Ismail then broke from the left to score and give Sharples a 3 goal advantage at the break. Sharples began the second half poorly and St Catherine's were back into the game after 2 quick successive strikes in the first 5 minutes. Fortunately, Sharples managed to compose themselves and sealed their 5-2 victory through Minhaaz Ismail and Nizamuddin Natha with the goal of the game.
