On Tuesday 22nd September, Sharples School took part in the ‘Barking Bake Off’, to raise money for Hearing Dogs for the Deaf. In just a short twenty minute period, during break, staff and students sold to hungry customers and made a fantastic £62.15!

A special thanks goes to the staff who contributed cakes to this event. Not to mention the superb efforts from our students who baked and then used their powers of persuasion in convincing customers to tuck into one more slice (see picture)! Thank you to anyone who munched away on a baked good (or two!) as these proceeds will go directly to support the training of the amazing assistance dogs at the Bolton branch of Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.
